How it all began?

First at all, thanks a ton, from me and Daria, for checking out our blog. We are grateful you are here! Second, let me explain you how everything started…

I’m very active person, social life, workouts every day, events, traveling and so on. Then COVID-19 is finally in Spain. Quarantine in March 2020 in Barcelona. It means from 100 km/h to zero… Didn’t lose my job, but they cut my hours. From 8 hours per day, to work just 4 hours. First days were like, playing videogames, watching Netflix, watching through the window and thinking two things: how to manage my rent with half a salary, and what to do with my extra time. First issue was covered with my savings. Second not so much… I was very upset for staying at home. I really wanted to do ‘something else’. I really wanted to go out, take the car and drive away.

That was exactly the time when I had a click in my head and I said to myself: why not to revive our experiences? why not to write about them and share with the world?

Why The Trip Log?

My name is Leo, and the pretty girl who gifted me this website on my birthday is Daria! We are just regular guys, trying to do what we really love.

Travel is part of our lives since we were young. Exploring, having tons of adventures saving good memories are the best part of doing that. But you know what? It’s not funny if you don’t share experiences with someone else. You think the same? Life is about experiences, good, bad, regular ones! But they’re what they are, experiences. We love sharing our owns to inspire people to do the same.

Thinking about this, you should definitely start planning a new experience by going somewhere. We will help you all the way! Let’s sum up new landscapes, cities, towns, beaches, to our eyes and memory.

How do you travel the world?

If it’s ok for you, we’ll give you tips, help, tricks, and the best places you have to go, at least one time in your life. Sometimes, it’s going to be expensive, and some others, really cheap.

To be honest, we spend a regular percentage of our current salary to travel. We normally visit five or six places in different countries during the year. The trick is, to not spend too much money in every place you go (easy to say, right?). Most important thing you need to know in order to achieve that is: planning.

Planning combined with some other budget tricks will make your travel life easier (and cheaper). We’ve been working on this topic to share our secrets with you in the Travel Tips Blog.

Is it difficult to build a blog?

As you might know, we have regular jobs and during our free time (“really Leo? we don’t have free time” this is what Daria would say for sureeee) we just write about our adventures here. It’s not really difficult but what is important is to be persistent.

You can also make some money writting but again, you have to be persistent. Check some of the steps to follow for having an extra income by creating a WordPress Blog.

Which things do you use during your trips?

It’s really important to have the adecuate travel essentials to feel comfortable during your trip and before starting a big adventure. That’s why we have standard things for every travel. We did a very good job on selecting those items in Amazon. You will find only best sellers here with very high quality reviews. Check that out by yourself in The Travel Shop.

What’s your photography gear?

Keep in mind that expensive cameras, drones, mobile phones are not the key of making a great content. You will have to focus on creativity and a lot of dedication (meaning time). We really don’t shoot on any expensive camera but we do invest in our mobile phones.

Since 2021, we are using this mobile phone and also this other phone. Our idea for 2022 is to have some different perspectives on our videos. We will invest some money on this drone.

Where do you live?
